There’s not enough space here to write about Michael and Jennifer. They are some of Rachel and my best friends so when we all found out that we would be in Hilton Head at the same time, Mike asked if we would take their portraits on the beach! We met them super early, got coffee, walked on the beach, and saw some awesome Spanish moss. We also saw the BIGGEST SPIDER you’ve ever seen. I mean, it was from King Kong or something — nasty! (It looks small in the photo, but I wasn’t getting any closer to that thing).

Michael has pretty much been my mentor for the past few years especially in the photography world. (Do yourself a favor and check his work out here) I met him in 2009 and started second shooting weddings with him. If one of us gets a new toy camera or lens, we block out some time and shoot around. It was an honor to be asked to shoot Michael and Jennifer’s  portraits.
