We have been DYING to post Carly and Zach’s wedding! We knew it was going to be an awesome wedding when we shot their engagement shoot last summer!  Their wedding was absolutely everything you could ever ask for. An awesome bride?  Check! A great groom? Check! Friends, family, music and cooperative weather? All three! And to top it off, we got to shoot their portraits during golden hour. What is Golden hour you ask? Denise and Ryan got married on an absolutely beautiful Saturday in May. Their wedding was full of fun, family, and of course, pictures! Their photo booth was awesome! We had a great time. Thanks for inviting us to be part of your day!

And they are getting married this year! You may remember Vicki and Kip’s Steeler wedding at Heinz Field from last year. Well, Caitlin and Jon are in the same vein as far as sports go. We went to each stadium for their engagement session and finished up on top of Mt. Washington. Take a look at the pictures we got!

If you are planning your wedding with that fancy new Pinterest site, (okay okay, I’ve been out of the loop for quite some time and am just now catching on… Rachel is like a Pinning pro though) LET US KNOW! At the risk of losing my man card I’m going to come out and say that Pinterest is great. It provides an awesome way for us to share ideas. Chelsea Thokar {2012}//04.05.12

Chelsea was such a blast to work with! And we got awesome pictures! She is graduating from Portersville Christian School this year. And we used an iPhone for the last picture!

Seriously, Rachel and I had such a good time shooting with Chelsea. We walked all through Phipps and then after it stopped raining, crossed the street into the beautiful Schenley Park and got some great stuff over there!

Denise + Ryan {Station Square Engagement}//03.18.12

I met Denise and Ryan for their engagement shoot on one of the windiest days Pittsburgh has seen this year! We stayed indoors for most of the shoot which was perfect because they brought their mini (Mary) along. Mary is so stinking cute and has a thing for exploring — She was always on the move! A BIG thanks to Ryan’s mom and dad who came along to supervise Mary’s exploration of Station Square!

While it is one of Pittsburgh’s most famous landmarks, Station Square holds a unique place in both Ryan and Denise’s heart. They both worked here for awhile, and actually had their first kiss in the same bar that you’ll see in the photos! It’s always really cool when we can incorporate something special to our couples into their photos.

Denise and Ryan, we can’t wait to shoot your wedding in the beginning of May! :)
