Recently, I’ve been studying posing. It’s fascinating how much a part of a photo posing plays. Check out Mr. Model on the left side. He looks weak and unsure of himself, and the company wants you to believe that that his do to his grey hair. But oh goodness look at him on the right side! He’s super confident. He looks to be saying, “My name is ____, and I’m awesome”. And once again, that’s supposed to be because of the hair color. But alas, it’s the posing. So much of good portraiture is due to posing.
